Wednesday and Thursday I will be testing you on your ability to describe pictures to me.  Here are the pictures you may be asked to describe for the final:

• El café
• La playa
• La familia
• Acampar

We also did a free write of one of the writing prompts on the final.  Turn it in to me so I can give you feedback. 

Evaluación Final - Práctica

We began by practicing speaking in Spanish using an image of people at a restaurant. 

 

 

We continued with SER and ESTAR by seeing how the verbs are used on the comic on the back of the SER and Estar worksheet (sorry, no digital copy)

 

  

We read Pobre Ana Capítulo 6 to practice for the reading section of the final.  Here are the multiple choice questions.  Follow this link and scroll down to find the chapter 6 PDF

Please make sure you update your DP for TPOL.  Here is a list of projects and what you will need to have on your DP for Spanish:

1. El Día de los Muertos

• Photo of your calaca
• Upload a copy of your poem
• Project explanation - What is Día de los Muertos, what the class did, what was the exhibition?
• Project Reflection - Who did you choose and why, what did you enjoy, what would you change, what did you learn? 

2. Los cuentos infantiles

• Photos of your book
• Audio recording of you reading your book
• Project explanation
• Project reflection

3. La poesía de la comida

• Copy of your poem
• Copy of your recipe and ingredients (In Spanish)
• Project explanation

Ser y Estar

We started with some speaking practice to describe this picture. This will be similar to the section you will see on the test.

1. Please take the End of Project Survey for AHS.
2. Take this End of Project Survey for my class.
3. Please update your DP.  Here is what you will need to do:

• Title your DP post, "La poesía de la comida"
• Upload your ode (with both English and Spanish)
• Upload your Spanish Version of your Recipe
• Write a paragraph explaining the project. 
• Write a reflection paragraph about YOUR project. For example:
• ·         What you learned from this project?
  ·         What you thought of the exhibition?
  ·         What was the most challenging/enjoyable part of the project?
  ·         What would you have done differently?
  ·         What you are most proud of?
