Poemas and Calacas Due Tomorrow

We did a peer critique of our Calacas –skeletons and our Poemas Calaveras. 

The Calacas are due tomorrow.  

The TYPED Poemas Calaveras are also due tomorrow.  I will give you feedback tomorrow for your final draft that will be due on Monday.

Project Work Time - Las Calacas (the Skeletons)

Today was our last full day of project work time on our art pieces.  If you have not finished your piece you will need to continue on your own time. 

We will have an ofrenda in the classroom this week.  Bring in an item that reminds you of the person you are creating for your sculpture.  
Options could be:
  • A picture
  • A trinket
  • A piece of clothing
  • Anything that reminds you of the person

Día de los Muertos Arte - Día 1

Today I passed back the evaluations and we recorded our scores on the Progreso de Habilidades sheet. 

I will be offering an optional retake of this quiz in class on Friday.  If you wish to retake this quiz you do not need to send me an email to reschedule. 

We started on our Calaveras-skeleton figures today.  If you have another idea for an art form make sure you clear it with me.
